I worked for years in lifestyle blogging, and wrote hundreds of posts devoted to finding the “perfect [fill in the blank].” The more things I bought, the more time I spent scrolling, then opening, then finding a place for it, and cycling out the old, on repeat. All this is to say, my life has gotten bigger, simpler, and much more beautiful in direct proportion to how little I buy.
