A few days ago, we learned that Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan reportedly had Epstein-related information for months — information that could have been vital to survivors, investigators, Congress, and the public — and instead of that becoming the story, it appears to have been held for a book.
And yet I’m looking around and asking:
Where is the follow-up from independent media?
We all talk about the failures of legacy media. We all talk about the cabal, the gatekeepers, the people who decide what truth gets released and when. But so far, I have not seen the independent journalism world treat this with the urgency it deserves.
