Youtube has become basically unusable.

Between the constant ads, the AI slop and just not very good anything it’s no longer fun.

I remember when it started and it was old music videos that people had uploaded from whatever format they’d saved them on years earlier plus people talking into a camera about whatever interested them.

It was real and it was fun.

Now it’s just corporate slop like everything else.

Moral of the story: when amateurs are doing it it’s fun, when the corporate drones take over it’s shit.
