i’ve seen a sizable uptick in retweets / repots with lines like ‘investing in this account’ and ‘possibly the best tweet ever’. Invariably the content is mid. But this trick seems to work with boosting engagement. Im almost certain these are mostly either bots or a coordinated influence campaign of some kind. The interesting thing here to me is how powerful social proof any kind is. We are so inundated with images, ideas etc. that even one random person recommending one morsel of content reads a momentary relief. I can trust Biglarper47, at least for the next 15 seconds
