it’s just kind of boring to be comfortable all the time. We can only experience joy because we know what sadness feels like. Light is only a thing because there is also dark. If everything was always the same texture, there wouldn’t even be a word for ‘comfort’ because there would be nothing to compare it to. The fact anything exists is because its opposite does too.
