I did it. As of today, I have officially resigned from Amazon.
Many of you know this job has been a struggle—not just the physical toll it took on my body, or the way it drained the energy I needed for writing, but the ethical conflict of working for a machine I didn't believe in.
I am stepping away with equal amounts of liberation and fear. I have more time to work on The Trailer (remember that one?), but the safety net is gone.
