My guy Klaus Zynski writes pithy, memorable sentences like you and I grow hair and go into credit debt.

I am generally skeptical of the “Marty Supreme is catnip for Gen Z women” style of film criticism, both because I believe we see the movie we expect to see, and because I’m bad at identifying generational tropes outside my own cohort.

But Klaus has a a talent for illuminating recent shifts both in movie-making and in society and tying them together with humor and clarity.
