Who remembers Bertolucci’s 1987 film, The Last Emperor?

In it there’s a scene where the Eunuchs who served the Emperor receive a little box with their balls as they leave the Forbidden City when the Empire dissolved.

If that doesn’t describe the Congress on the Republican side to a tee…. I don’t know what does.

After they leave, they don’t t speak unless they have chosen to leave the party altogether.

Where would we be if the Republicans had organized publicly to speak the truth to the American people after the 2020 election?
