I didn’t want to like this because I really admire the work Chris Rufo does, and I understand that institutional and donor demands aren’t always in line with a consistent moral/ideological vision, but Brunet calls out a real problem. I prefer the glass-half-full interpretation that at least the Manhattan Institute is keeping fallen women (and men) from selling their bodies by employing them as journalists. It’s like a Victorian charity, the Manhattan Home for Soiled Doves or something, just without the Christianity and with a bunch of tr00ns.
What concerns me more is this infographic. I don’t want to sound vain, but I’m more radical than half of these people- Sarah Stock, really!? What does a librarian have to do to get denounced by James Lindsay?
