It took me 15 minutes to lose the position I had taken years to reach.
I entered that video call thinking I was going to have a routine follow-up with my manager, but the message came cold, mechanical, devastating:
We have decided to let you go.
No explanations, no plan, no future.
We count on you, echoed from the other side.
You count on me... for what?
I didn't know it then, but that day something started to germinate inside me.
It would take months to grow, but everything started that day; that was what led me to start publishing on LinkedIn and then in my own newsletter here on Substack.
Because from that initial paralysis, from the rage, from the despair, my desire was born to help others build a crisis-proof professional career.
To train as leaders.
That's why I write every day. To remind you that no one should depend on a we count on you to know their worth.
Neither you.
Neither I.
Neither anyone else.
