Make money doing the work you believe in

Chrome is tracking you. Brave has baggage. Vivaldi is complicated. So what browser are we actually supposed to use??

I’ve been hunting for an internet browser that respects my data and that I actually like using and doesn’t impede on my work.

My pick is Zen Browser, but there are a few other options in this video that might work for you.

The point is, this is probably one of the harder topics to talk about in this series because there are SO many options and none of them are 100% perfect. But switching from a better option from something like Chrome or Edge is still BETTER.

The goal is direction, not perfection. If we demand complete ethical purity from our tech before we switch, we’ll never leave Big Tech.

For a full breakdown of browser pros and cons, check out Cut Off the Spigot’s recent Substack post.

And let me know in the comments: Where are you getting stuck in your journey away from fascism-supporting companies? It can be anything, not just browsers.

Sometimes it can be really difficult to know where to start with all of this. That’s why we’re building a community here to share actionable learnings, not just ideas.
