You always own your intellectual property, mailing list, and subscriber payments. With full editorial control and no gatekeepers, you can do the work you most believe in.
So many people do not understand the system they live under. It's not about being a tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist. It's about acknowledging the role money plays in America and the fact that you CAN NOT trust any system where all the financial incentive is on one side.
And my husband's and my insurance went up by over $100 per month on our "bronze" plan (they should just call it the "brown" plan because it's worth jacksh-t) after going down or staying the same for two years now. What are we paying for? You know what we're paying for. No, none of this is free.
