This is so great, and arrived just in the right moment! I too am in my mid 30's, parenting small children, and as busy as can be. I too have no local friends. Up until not long ago, I thought I was a weirdo. Recently I accepted that while yes, I probably am a weirdo, that's a beautiful thing. While I do wish I'd have more close friends, I don't feel the urge to rush or force it anymore. There's nothing wrong with me.
