I’m writing this sitting in the sun, somewhere I didn’t expect to find myself on a Sunday in Brussels : the Ceria–Coovi campus, designed in the 1950s by Antoine Courtens. Pavilion-like buildings scattered across a green landscape, still largely intact, with that particular modernist generosity: wide circulation, plenty of light, functionality.
This isn’t a relic. It’s fully alive — a public educational hub split between francophone and Flemish institutions, packed with schools focused mainly on food and chemistry. On a quiet Sunday, with almost no one around, you get to see the beauty of it clearly.
