Fabulous advice! Today was our first day in Lecce and we went into an antique store. Three hours later, we had been taken to the owner's 2 other warehouses, met a couple from Luxembourg who we had lunch with . . . then we were taken to 2 ancillary exhibits by the owner of a small museum because all we did was go in and buy a book that we'd been waiting to be translated into English for 3 years . . . finally we stopped into a friend's wine bar, only to learn that Stanley Tucci had just left and was filming for his TV show. Nothing planned. Everything gained. I just adore this country and its people!
