I am sure. I taught elementary school as well. Although my daughter and I both have asthma, we were rarely sick. So, when it happened it took on a bigger drama I think. Before covid I got a virus in the fall for 2 years and I was coughing so hard for 10 weeks that I could hardly talk because talking triggered gut wrenching coughing bouts. Still, I had to talk and teach. It was just hard. I wish you and your daughter a good recovery and an end to the lingering cough.
