Make money doing the work you believe in

I’ve gotten a lot of deeply personal judgments the last month over that ChatGPT essay, but the striking part is that the flip side of that is the random kind humans on Substack who chose to then read another essay of mine last year about having everything I could ever want in this life — except a child. And go a step farther to take time out of their lives to make comments like these on my essay.

While I understand so wholly why the call for motherhood doesn’t feel aligned for a lot more women these days, it always has for me. And I wrote an essay last summer about being in one of my years-on-end-nomad ventures in Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Albania.

And how even amongst all the beauty and the freedom and the adventure, there is always something missing for me. My child. And I see it everywhere now, in everything. the yearn so to speak.

anyway, just want to say Substack can be such a beautiful place. And I’m very thankful to many humans 💛
