Fair enough! I imagine this is also dependent on the family's lifestyle and how many kids they have. And if money is a concern for the family and it ends up being one of those situations where maybe they're more working class and the mom stays home because paying for daycare basically cancels out the paycheck she'd earn going back to work, there's probably going to be a lot more stress than if they were more financially comfortable, contributing to that feeling of overwhelm, especially if the husband isn't contributing to childcare when he's not at work. Like I said above, I am not a parent, but it seems to me that a father should be actively parenting when he's at home along with his wife. If her job never ends but he gets every night off after he clocks out for the day, that's another recipe for resentment, overwhelm, and an unhappy marriage.
