A lot of things are going on that affect people's individual, immediate lives that, to them, are much more important than caring about a war that may as well be happening on a different planet. For some people, that is this war, but for most other people, things like economic inequality (for one example) aren't abstract, far-off concerns. Neither is healthcare access. There are are a million things we can cite that are “bigger” to tons and tons of people, and rightfully so. No one is required to sacrifice their own immediate needs to yell ineffectually about one of many ongoing wars. Expecting as much is more than unreasonable. We all can't care about everything, and that's normal and healthy, because if we tried, there would be no room or energy for any of it.
