I'm selling my house in the Bahamas (painful, but it's time.)
Everyone keeps asking, "What about your stuff?"
We've owned that house for 18 years, but we sold it turn key. That means we've included everything in it. The books, the kitchen stuff, the paintings, the furniture, the knickknacks — all of it.
But here's what I've learned from years of living on an island where you can't buy anything, and years of traveling with just a suitcase...
Nobody wants your stuff.
Not your kids, not your friends. Not the future version of you.
Things don't matter.
People do.
