“Love the God your ancestors loved.”

That’s the wisdom I received from my teacher, who received it from hers.

Of course, many of us assume someone else’s God must be better than our own. So we go searching — convinced we’ll find the Truth (capital T) someplace far away.

Eventually, we find our way back home, realizing what we were looking for was here all along.
