Your spirituality isn’t just about meditation, prayer, and reading texts.

The real work is how you bring that into the world — how you help, how you love, and how you make the world better.

There is such a focus on inner work in our culture that it’s easy to forget the larger point.

This is especially true for me. It’s easy for me to meditate, read scripture, and write an essay. I’m very introverted. It’s much more challenging for me to engage with others IRL.

But I believe that’s what’s being asked of us right now — not more inner work, but to open our hearts to one another and be of service.
