The app for independent voices

This list is a mix of early chapter books, bridge books, and engaging series that help build reading stamina while still keeping reading fun and accessible. These are the kinds of books kids return to again and again, full of humor, mystery, animals, adventure, and just enough challenge to keep them growing.

I have been wanting to create a more organized and curated way to share booklists, but I also simply want to get some of our favorite titles into your hands. This list is a starting point. It reflects books that have worked well in our home and with students, and ones that consistently spark interest, confidence, and a love of reading.

You will find a balance of beloved classics, newer favorites, nonfiction, and series fiction that work well for independent reading or reading together.
