Break your writing into chronological chunks. I used: early internet years, the career years, the quiet period, the civic chapter, the hard years, the current version.

Feed each chunk separately with this prompt: "Characterize this version of the person. Describe dominant concerns, emotional baseline, ambitions, fears. Quote examples. Avoid generic psychological language."

Then run a cross-era prompt: "What patterns persisted? What changed? What did this person repeatedly attempt but struggle to resolve?"

The cross-era prompt is where it gets strange.
