I’ve just discovered that the 4k/IMAX remaster of Akira is coming to cinemas. In case you didn’t know, Akira was a major influence on the cyberpunk genre, and of the first The Matrix movie.

I never saw it in cinemas, of course—I’m about the movie’s age, actually—so I will, with all certainty, be attending this.

Also, that bike. It’s iconic.
