The problem with thinking a career will bring you happiness, is it never does.

Women (and men) think they can fight against nature and that they will win. But you can't defy reality. It catches up eventually because biology is like gravity. You can't escape it. And then those who think they escaped the confines of nature are the ones presenting their families and"grieving" over the lost identity they manufactured for themselves. Then the women blame it on men instead of taking accountability for the mistakes they made. The men aren’t doing enough, it’s not fair they have to be the “primary caregiver” etc. They refuse to accept that they are more than just a caregiver, they are a mother.

I find this as absurd and offensive as men who act like everything is women's fault. Such men break into tirades about how all women are whores, just like feminists say all men will leave their wives at some point for a younger woman. They say that women will divorce you for no reason and take everything you worked for, including your children. And often the stats are on their side.

I reject both narratives because both are unbecoming and offensive and avoidable. We don't need to engage in gender wars.

We simple need to start treating one another with decency and respect regardless of gender. Instead of tearing our marriages apart by hating our spouse, we should practice gratitude. Instead of resenting the children who have replaced the career, we should learn to love them more than wealth and status. Because nothing is eternal except for love.
