Make money doing the work you believe in

Philosophers have argued that slaves don't hate power. They don't dream of freedom. They fantasize of becoming masters ... of upturning the scales. They don't want to eradicate power. They want to pervert it.

I do not believe this is always true for all oppressed peoples, but it is observably true with feminism. Some women believe themselves to be victims of an unfair power structure. They believe they are the oppressed slaves of the patriarchy. And so they dream of a matriarchy, of subjecting the men to their whims. These women do not hate power -- they crave it. They do not hate abuse, they dream of becoming the abuser, whether they explicitly say so or not.

This is a major reason I can't stand by feminism. The Church already believes that women are valuable and not to be treated as slaves, but to be honored and respected. Women are not second class citizens in the eyes of the Church, but daughters of Christ, revered as the Virgin Mary is revered for their inherent dignity. But that is not enough for feminists. They don't want to just be honored, but worshiped. They don't want to be equal to men, they want to humiliate men.

They spurn their own femininity, then laugh at the idea of men becoming like wives or mothers. They have no respect for their own bodies or abilities because their hearts are filled with bitterness and hatred.

They ignore history and turn to extremism.

They tear down Chesterton's fences, prohibit alcohol, murder their children, defy their beauty, and scorn any woman who is happy as a wife or mother.

They invent narratives, but they are never satisfied with the solutions they dream up because their quest for power is insatiable.

Feminists can't win, because their fight is not against men as much as their biology. Their hatred for men is not near as great as their self-hatred.

No matter how effeminate men become, feminists remain disgruntled because they are denying their intrinsic worth and suppressing their natural intuitions.

They do not want to be happy. They do not want to be safe and protected -- their darkest imaginations are ridden with kinky infatuations.

There is no victory for the feminist. When all is proven to be futile at last, she is haggard and alone.

But even then she believes herself to be a victim of the patriarchy when all along she was her greatest enemy.
