Make money doing the work you believe in

My grandfather was pulled out of school when he was a boy and spent his childhood fleeing truant officers. He grew up and happily "homeschooled" his nine children. His son -- my father -- married a homeschooled woman, and together they homeschooled me and my eleven siblings.

Now that I'm considering how I want my daughter's education to look, I've been sorting through the family history in a way I hadn't before.

This is our story, It’s more complicated than I’d like, and might make a some homeschoolers angry. But we need to have this conversation.
