There could be no better day to re-stack this than today, the traditional day of the Seven Dolors of Mary on the Friday before Holy Week. She, the first believer, here becomes the first disciple - on behalf of the undeserving she helps The King carry his burden & accompanies Him to the Cross where she stands by Him. In effect, she ‘picks up her cross & follows’ as the Lord has commanded His following disciples to do. By His grace, may we do the same along with her.
