If you need to let go of anxiety to focus on reading, this may be a good hypnotherapy session to listen to.

Another thing that helps me is read a paragraph or two aloud, to really focus. When you are reading out loud, the inner monologue can’t happen at the same time (in my experience at least- I wonder if it works for others).
