The fastest-growing religious group in America is called “nones.” But they didn’t choose that name. Demographers gave it to them.

It literally means: not this, not that, nothing. A category defined entirely by absence.

That seems like a problem worth solving. I’m working on a rebrand and I want to know what words actually resonate with people who’ve left religion, or never had it, or are doing something in between.
