I was a reader and author on fanfiction.net in the heyday, the S.J. Maas days.. I discovered substack through a friend and I haven’t looked back.

My follower count didn’t shoot up by the thousands overnight. I find that I generally gain followers by rolling up my sleeves and publishing essays. And I like that I have to earn it.

I hope my presence here isn’t a harbinger of the downfall of this community. I truly just want to honor what y’all’ve built here.
