I stay out of US politics, but calling the National Trust for Historic Preservation “a radical left group of lunatics” is hilarious. I have worked with many of them across the border, and they are dedicated, honourable, smart, but they aren’t radical, and they certainly aren’t left. They are deeply conservative, with the emphasis on “conserve.”
