The app for independent voices

Before anyone was paying attention, one critic clocked Gregg’s tremendous vocals and the guitar conversation between Duane Allman and Dickey Betts. "The Allman Bros. Band emerged as the hit of the evening and it shouldn't be long before they're back at the top of the Fillmore's bill. Fronted by Duane and Gregg Allman, the band got it on with its driving, blues rooted brand of music. Gregg's Black-derived voice was at its soulful best on "Whipping Post." The latter number also showcased the band's instrumental talents with an extended, cohesive jam that featured exceptional lead guitar swaps between Duane Allman and Dickey Betts. Although the Allmans are based in Georgia, they play an improvisational type of rock that's similar in approach to that of many San Francisco Groups." Unnamed review 📷Twiggs
