New data on tax returns: in 2024, average income rises to 24,890 gross euros, +3.1% real over the previous year. But 61% of Italians declare less than 26 thousand euros and only 6.6% exceed 55 thousand. In 23 years, real declared incomes have grown by only 6.8%.
