Paul Krugman and Robin J Brooks apply economic theory and careful reading of current events and history to explain what is going on. This allows them, and us, to see the menu of policy options available to the US. Krugman’s and Brooks’s insights are superior to the speculation and wishful thinking masquerading as strategy and tactics in the Trump administration.
