Kelly, you should educate yourself before you run your mouth (or fingers across the keyboard). The problem is that T______p has weaponized the term DEI. Turning it into something evil. He has brainwashed people like you to hate it. Believing that it is awarding opportunities for people who don't deserve it.

He has come in like a bulldozer, eviscerating anything that has DEI in it. No attempt to have a discussion nor modify bureaucratic involvement. Just destroy. All to curry favor with a small group of people like yourself who adore him. The irony is that Musk (who is championing this move) has benefited from his own form of DEI. Tesla was subsidized by more than $10 billion by the government. Yet he wants to deny others the opportunity to get their foot in the door with similar subsidy programs, which is what DEI is about. He is a hypocritical, piece of____!

Let me let you in on something. DEI was a term coined in the 1960's as part of the civil rights movement. The goal was to give Black people a chance to have economic opportunity. I know it's hard for "racial inequity deniers" like you to believe that Black people have suffered but you should google your history. You can argue about the bureaucracy that has arisen from it but do not deny its importance.

So read and think. THEN come to the table to discuss.
