Makan Nasiri (age 7) was a student at the Shajareh Tayyebeh (The Good Tree) elementary school in Minab. When Makan's school was attacked, Asieh Rahinejad - his mother - called the bus driver to go fetch her son, but a second missile hit the school and wiped out 168 children. The rescuers could not find Makan and many other children. Here is a picture of his parents - Asieh Rahinejad and Cyrus Nasiri - with his shoe, the only thing that has been recovered.
