Whenever I read something like this, I can actually feel myself becoming a little bit more jaded. Because it’s ridiculous, isn’t it? I’m also jaded because I can practically sense the backlash of reactions this poor woman could expect. Didn’t she know? Hadn’t she googled obsessively enough? Hadn’t she been on enough fertility forums to understand? Did she fail to ask the right questions? Wasn’t it completely obvious that human chorionic gonadotrophin would do that, who doesn’t know what human chorionic gonadotrophin does?!
