My ‘new’ look. No makeup, silver sides, armpit hair. It started in April with a reaction to wearing makeup, so I stopped. Then in May I asked my hairdresser not to dye my white temples. And all the while I let my armpits do their thing. The thought of going makeup free was terrifying, but necessary, and now a few months later it feels completely normal not to put mascara, foundation and blusher on daily. Because it is ‘normal’! This is - approaching - the real me. I’ll write a fuller post about my ‘transformation’ soon.
