Before you sign a term sheet:

• Beyond the check, what do they bring? Talent, customers, intro..

• How did they behave with their portfolio? Ask for references, specially when things went bad.

• Will they follow on in your next round?

• Will they pick up the phone anytime when there’s a fire?
