a profanity for a toestub prob isn’t bad but a society where everyone is profane all the time probably is bad
getting a vasectomy prob isn’t bad but a society where everybody is getting vasectomies probably is bad
the sum of a lot of not-individually-awful actions can nontheless be a bad society because goodness and badness are not strictly additive.
