Who are you going to be?

Yourself?

Or what you think people want you to be?

No idea who you are? I can relate. Years ago, after a major life collapse, God took me on a journey of discovering my identity in Him.

It was buried beneath layers of performance, pleasing, and perfectionism—a whole facade built to project an image that made me feel approved and validated.

When I finally crashed, God gently began healing my heart and revealing my beautiful, strong, sensitive identity.

While I still fall into pleasing and perfecting at times, I am much more secure in who I am. It is such a gift to not wear the mask any more; to just be me, with all my flaws and imperfections.

In a culture of shape-shifters and personas, I hope you will be yourself. That’s what the world needs.

What would it look like to take the mask off and just be you?

ps. if you can relate, you may enjoy my recent poem about identity 🤎
