The app for independent voices

This is playful and aching at the same time. The rhyme scheme gives it a light, almost conversational bounce, but underneath there’s real longing and inventory of memory. Lines like “immortalize you in my repertoire” and the mason jar image are wonderfully intimate and strange in the best way. It feels like a postcard written to someone who never quite left.
