We live in a world where human rights and international law seem to exist only when they are useful to the West. The moment they become inconvenient, they are dismissed as naive abstractions, selective principles, or irresponsible idealism.
That is the real obscenity. Not only the hypocrisy itself, but the arrogance with which it is performed. Rules for enemies. Exceptions for allies. Moral outrage on schedule, silence on demand.
In the end, the message is brutally simple: justice is universal only in speeches. In practice, it is geopolitical furniture.
