Patriotism is not hanging a flag from your balcony twice a year, or even all 365 days if that is your hobby.

Patriotism is refusing, with your vote, to let thieves and scoundrels decide the fate of the country and the generations that come after you, while they sell “love of country” as a slogan and quietly strip the country bare, piece by piece. Real patriotism protects a nation. It does not applaud the people destroying it.
