I cannot stand the workplace slugs, the ones who will do absolutely anything for a boss, the ones with no life outside the office who stay at their desks until 11 at night like unpaid martyrs of obedience. I see them as one of the reasons we have been dragged back into a new labor dark age. Every time they glorify exhaustion, submission, and boss worship, they help make this medieval work culture feel normal for everyone else.
