Clever in a dark, self-aware way. Starting with “There are clouds above my coffin” gives it that funeral drama, then you quietly undercut it with “Bloody Hell, I was so vain!” and suddenly the whole piece opens up. That turn works really well because it doesn’t kill the sadness, it just exposes the ego hiding inside it.
And yes, the “You’re So Vain” echo comes through, but you made it your own by pushing it into death, grief, and that awkward truth that life keeps moving even at a funeral. “I thought this funeral was about me!” is funny, bleak, and painfully human all at once. Sharp piece. Strange, honest, and a lot smarter than it first pretends to be…Χάρη τους κάνω που το έγραψα στ Αγγλικά.
