The app for independent voices

I really like your stories and is one of the best so far.

It’s feels clean in the best way. The fox never turns into a cheap symbol or a fake mystical answer. He stays a fox “light. / Precise.” and because of that, the shift in the narrator feels earned. The line “You can know everything… / And still be lost” lands hard, and the contrast between carrying too much and “simply mov[ing] through it” gives the whole piece its quiet force.

I also like how grounded it stays in the body: “mud thick enough to pull at your boots,” the rhythm of steps, the slowing down, the path opening. It doesn’t lecture. It walks. By the time you get to “The path didn’t feel heavy anymore. / Not because it changed. / Because I did,” it feels simple, honest, and fully deserved.
