It's a literal national shame
And I'd like to think educated people know the only reason it's happening is because of the racism this country has never dealt with
And the only way we're going to be able to work through it and come to any decency on the other side is to deal with the active racism happening, and the *passive racism that refuses to intervene to stop it*
